+ Visa application form: fill in all information. The Italian Immigration Service does not accept an application for a false or deleted Italian Visa.
+ 2 4 x 6 cm or 3.5 x 4.5 cm card photos, international standard (white background), taken within 6 months, clearly visible face and ears
+ Original passport valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages remaining
+ Return flight booking. Note that this must be a confirmation sent from the airline, showing all the flight information, logo, contact number of the airline. VFS Global does not accept a sketchy booking confirmation, only the flight code. In case of traveling through more than 1 country within the Schengen area, the applicant needs to provide travel schedules and proofs of all means of transportation for the entire Schengen stay, such as ticket booking flight, train ticket, train, passenger car, car rental ... The name of the visa applicant must be clearly shown on the booking confirmation.
+ 1 copy of travel insurance certificate valid for the entire period of stay and throughout the Schengen territory, with a minimum compensation of 30,000 euros.
Note: If your stay in Schengen territory is less than 7 days, you need to purchase insurance valid for at least 7 days. If your stay in Schengen territory is 7 days or more, you will need to purchase insurance for the full period plus 2 days. For example, if you plan to stay in the Schengen area from January 20 to January 26 (7 days), you need to purchase travel insurance valid from January 20 to January 28 (9 days).
Proof of residency in Schengen area:
Confirm hotel reservation in Italy and other Schengen countries (if any). The name of the Italian Visa applicant must be clearly shown on the booking confirmation.
Note: The dates on flight booking and hotel booking must be consistent and reasonable.
+ Proof of employment:
- For employees:
1 certified true copy of valid labor contract
1 original payroll for the last 6 months
1 original letter of consent to leave the agency
- For business owners:
1 notarized copy of the tax / payment slip to the state budget of the 6 most recent months or the 2 most recent quarters.
- For pensioners:
A notarized copy of retirement decision
1 certified copy of retirement card
1 notarized copy of pension book
- For students:
1 certified copy of student / student card
1 letter confirming student from school (original, with carpentry of training institution)
1 letter of approval for absence from school during the travel period (original, with carpentry of the training institution)
